Options for Television in English
Unless you have the right to install your own satellite and are in a location to point it at the right satellites, English language television may be limited to CNN, BBC Prime, Eurosport, and some Mtv shows. You might be able to get a membership at a video store with your proof of residence (see Melde info at the Accommodations page) and watch rented DVD's on a DVD player, assuming you will have one where you stay. You might also find ways to stream shows over the Internet and watch them on a computer.

If you want the satellite option, you will need to check if you are allowed to mount a satellite dish on a "communal wall" before you do it. Not all large buildings, particularly in resedential areas, will allow this.
